Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Drain brake fluid from reservoir.
3. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Fluid level indicator harness connector
   • Master cylinder brake pipes
   • Master cylinder installing nuts
   • Master cylinder

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Master cylinder with nuts
     1. Torque to: 124 inch lbs. (14 Nm)
   • Master cylinder brake pipes
   • Fluid level indicator harness connector
2. Fill and bleed brake fluid
