To Remove:
- Release fuel pressure
- Remove or disconnect the following
- Resonator chamber
- Spark plug wires from spark plugs (#1 and #3 cylinders)
- Power steering pump and tank from brackets
- Front v-belt
- Power steering tank, pump and bracket
- Fuel pipe protector
- Fuel injector connector
- Injector pipe to intake manifold bolts
- Fuel injector from intake manifold
- Fuel injector securing clip
- Fuel injector while lifting up fuel injector pipe
To Install:
NOTE: Replace 0-rings with new ones.
- Install or connect the following
- Fuel injector while lifting up fuel injector pipe
- Fuel injector securing clip
- Fuel injector to intake manifold
- Injector pipe to intake manifold bolts
- Tightening torque: 19 Nm (1.4 ft-lb)
- Fuel injector connector
- Fuel pipe protector
- Tightening torque: 19 Nm (1.4 ft-lb)
- Power steering tank, pump and bracket
- Front v-belt
- Power steering pump and tank to brackets
- Spark plug wires to spark plugs (#1 and #3 cylinders)
- Resonator chamber
To Remove:
- Release fuel pressure
- Remove or disconnect the following
- Washer tank
- Spark plug cords from spark plugs (# 2 and # 4 cylinders)
- Fuel pipe protector
- Fuel injector connector
- Injector pipe to intake manifold bolt
- Fuel pipe on the left side intake manifold bolt
- Fuel injector from intake manifold
- Fuel injector securing clip
- Fuel injector while lifting up fuel injector pipe
To Install:
NOTE: Replace 0-rings with new ones.
- Install or connect the following
- Fuel injector while lifting up fuel injector pipe
- Fuel injector securing clip
- Fuel injector to intake manifold
- Fuel pipe on the left side intake manifold bolt
- Tightening torque: 5.0 Nm (3.7 ft-lb)
- Injector pipe to intake manifold bolts
- Tightening torque: 19 Nm (1.4 ft-lb)
- Fuel injector connector
- Fuel pipe protector
- Tightening torque: 19 Nm (1.4 ft-lb)
- Spark plug wires to spark plugs (# 2 and # 4 cylinders)
- Washer tank
