Throttle Body

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Disconnect or remove the following
   • Battery ground cable
   • Air cleaner case

   • Accelerator cable (a)
   • Cruise control cable (b) (with cruise control model)

   • Connectors from idle air control solenoid valve, throttle position sensor and pressure sensor
   • Air by-pass hose from throttle body
   • Engine coolant hoses (a) from throttle body

   • Throttle body to intake manifold installation bolts (B)

To Install:

NOTE: Always use a new gasket

1. Install or connect the following
   • Throttle body to intake manifold installation bolts (B)
   • Torque specification: Throttle body; 22 N.m (15.9 ft-lb)

   • Engine coolant hoses (a) from throttle body
   • Air by-pass hose to throttle body
   • Connectors to idle air control solenoid valve, throttle position sensor and pressure sensor

   • Cruise control cable (b) (with cruise control model)
   • Accelerator cable (a
   • Air cleaner case
   • Battery ground cable
