Oil Temperature Sensor Inspection

NOTE:
Do not measure resistance with terminal of the oil temperature sensor soaked in coolant. As for the measurement in the soaked state, an accurate measurement cannot be done.
Check resistance between terminal “1” and terminal “2” varies depending on engine oil temperature (1) as shown in the following graph.
If faulty condition is found, replace oil temperature sensor.
