APP Sensor Assembly Inspection
Precautions: General safety (00)
1)Check APP sensor output voltage as follows.
If check result is not as specified, replace APP sensor assembly.
If check result is not as specified, replace APP sensor assembly.
a)Arrange 3 new 1.5 V batteries (1) in series, and check that total voltage is 4.5 to 5.0 V.
b)Connect voltmeter (2) and batteries to APP sensor as shown in figure.

c)Set ignition “ON” and check APP sensor voltage varies depending on accelerator pedal position as shown in the following graph while accelerator pedal is released and fully depressed.
