VDOP Solenoid Valve Removal and Inspection

Removal

1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.

2)Disconnect VDOP solenoid valve connector (1).

3)Remove VDOP solenoid valve (2) and oil seal from oil pump.

Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

•Apply engine oil to new oil seal lip.
•Tighten VDOP solenoid valve bolt to specified torque.

Tightening torque

VDOP solenoid valve bolt (a): 8.0 N·m (0.82 kgf-m, 6.0 lbf-ft)
