Fuel System Description

The fuel pump (1) in the fuel tank (2) pumps fuel into the high pressure fuel supply circuit [B] through the fuel filter (3).

The fuel pump assembly (4) is composed of a fuel pump, a fuel pump filter (5) and a fuel level sensor (6). The fuel pump is an electric pump.

The high pressure fuel pump (7) driven by the engine boosts pressure of low pressure fuel to create high pressure fuel.

The high pressure fuel is supplied to the fuel delivery pipe (8) through the high pressure pipe (9). The fuel injectors (10) atomize the fuel to charge the cylinders.
