Precautions for Emergency Flat Tire Repair Kit (If Equipped)

The flat tire repair sealant in the emergency flat tire repair kit is harmful to your health.
Observe the following precautions to prevent your health from being ruined.
•Should you inhale or swallow the sealant, get medical attention immediately.
•Keep the sealant out of reach of children.
•Select a place with good ventilation for handling the sealant.
•If the sealant contacts your eye or skin, wash the affected part thoroughly with water and receive medical attention immediately in the event of eye contact.
•Do not discard tire containing flat tire repair sealant as it is. For removal of flat tire repair sealant from inside the tire, refer to Treatment of Flat Tire Repaired with Sealant.
•Wipe off sealant spilled on tire changer or floor using waste cloth.
•Dispose of flat tire repair sealant and waste cloth soiled with flat tire repair sealant as an industrial waste such as waste oil.

NOTICE:
•For vehicle without TPMS, the valve and valve core installed in the tire which is repaired with the sealant has sealant adhered. This will cause air to leak from the tire if reused.
Do not reuse the valve and valve core.
•For vehicle with TPMS, the hole of the tire pressure sensor installed in the tire which is repaired with the sealant can be clogged with the sealant. This will cause air to leak from the tire and/or the sensor to malfunction if reused.

•For vehicle with TPMS, the hole of the tire pressure sensor installed in the tire which is repaired with the sealant can be clogged with the sealant. This will cause air to leak from the tire and/or the sensor to malfunction if reused.

NOTE:
Flat tire repair sealant has an expiration date which is printed on the container label. If it expires, replace the flat tire repair sealant with a new one.
