B1068-1A: Side Air Bag Circuit Low Resistance (Driver Side)
Driver-side side-air bag (inflator) module circuit resistance is less than specified range.
•Driver-side and/or passenger-side side-air bag (inflator) module circuit
•Driver-side and/or passenger-side side-air bag (inflator) module
•SDM
B1069-1A: Side Air Bag Circuit Low Resistance (Passenger Side)
Passenger-side side-air bag (inflator) module circuit resistance is less than specified range.

Was “Air Bag Diagnostic System Check” performed?
Go to Step 2.

Side-air bag (inflator) module check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Disconnect “Q104” or “Q105” connector. icon 
3)Connect “STEERING WHEEL” harness (1) of special tool (C), special tools (A) and (B) to “Q104” or “Q105” connector.

(B): 09932–78310
(C): 09932–75011

4)Set ignition “ON”.
5)Check for DTC. icon 
Is DTC B1068-1A or DTC B1069-1A detected?
Go to Step 3.
Replace side-air bag (inflator) module. icon

Side-air bag (inflator) module circuit check
1)Set ignition “OFF”.
2)Check for proper connection to “L04” connector.
3)Disconnect “L04” connector. icon 
4)Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool (B).
5)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L04-21” and “L04-22” terminals (DTC B1068-1A): infinity
•Resistance between “L04-24” and “L04-23” terminals (DTC B1069-1A): infinity
Special Tool

Is check result OK?
Replace SDM and recheck DTC. icon 
Go to Step 4.

Floor harness circuit check
1)Disconnect “L384” or “L385” connector.
2)Release shorting bar in SDM connector inserting release tool (B).
3)Check the following points.
•Resistance between “L04-21” and “L04-22” terminals (DTC B1068-1A): infinity
•Resistance between “L04-24” and “L04-23” terminals (DTC B1069-1A): infinity
Special Tool
(A): 09932–76010
(B): 09932–75100

Is check result OK?
Replace seat harness.
Replace floor harness.
NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
•Reconnect all air bag system components and check that all components are properly mounted.
•Clear DTCs, referring to DTC Clearance if any DTC is detected.
•Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check to check that the trouble has been solved.
