Passenger Air Bag Deactivation Switch Inspection (If Equipped)

1)Remove passenger air bag deactivation switch. 
2)Measure resistance between terminals “1” and “2” at air bag ON position and OFF position.
Passenger air bag deactivation switch resistance
Air bag ON (closed): Approx. 100 Ω
Air bag OFF (opened): Approx. 400 Ω
3)While measuring resistance, move passenger air bag deactivation switch lightly and check that resistance does not change.
If measured resistance is not as specified or fluctuates, replace passenger air bag deactivation switch.
If measured resistance is not as specified or fluctuates, replace passenger air bag deactivation switch.
