Rear Defogger and Door Mirror Heater System Description (If Equipped)

•Rear defogger and mirror heater system consists of rear defogger (1), rear defogger switch (2) (A/C panel (3)), “RR DEF” fuse (4), “MRR HTR” fuse (5), HVAC control module (auto A/C model) (6), rear defogger relay (7), left and right side mirror heaters (8) (in power door mirrors (9)) and BCM (10).
•BCM judges rear defogger switch condition when rear defogger relay turns on with engine running, thereby causing rear defogger and mirror heaters to operate. After a certain period of time, BCM turns off relay to discontinue operation of rear defogger and mirror heaters.
