Rear Floor Side Rear Member, Rear Floor Side Member Rear Reinforcement and Rear Floor Rear Panel (Partial) Removal and Installation

NOTE:

The figure below shows condition where the following parts are removed.

•Front fender

•Back Panel

General Notes

Welding method and number of welding points are the same on both sides. This repair instruction shows procedure for left side.

Removal

1)Mark at the shown position and cut rear floor rear panel.

NOTICE:

You may accidentally cut the parts under the rear floor rear panel when cutting the rear floor rear panel.

Take sufficient care not to damage the parts under the rear floor rear panel when cutting rear floor rear panel.

2)Drill out welding spots and remove rear floor rear panel.

3)Drill out welding spots and remove rear floor side rear member and rear floor side member rear reinforcement.

1:

Grind welding spots using belt sander, if necessary.

2:

Left side only

Installation

NOTE:

Before conducting any weld, check installation position and condition for installation part(s).

1)Install rear floor side rear member and rear floor side member rear reinforcement.

2)Conduct resistance spot weld or plug weld.
