Foamed Material Filling Area Repair

Precautions
CAUTION:
If the section filled with foamed material is heated, the foamed material may catch fire and you may get burned.
Take the following precautions to reduce the risk of injury.
•Do not heat or cut panels with gas torch or the like.
•Use a fire-free tools such as air-saw when cutting panels.
•Remove foamed material close to welding part before welding.

How to Repair
Baffle plate restoration
Restore the baffle plate according to the instruction in “Pattern A” if the baffle plate will be reused. Restore the baffle plate using “Pads” from service parts according to the instruction “Pattern B” if original baffle plate will not be reused.

Apply adhesive for glass (2) between baffle plate (1) and panels (3) to fill up gap. Fill the openings between panel (2) and panel (3) with the combined “Pads” glued in the original baffle plate position.

Foamed material restoration
Fit pad (1) (supplied as service part) to the original foamed material location to fill up gap between panels.
