DTC Troubleshooting
NOTE:
•Before performing troubleshooting, read Precautions for Immobilizer System:Ignition Switch Model.
•If keyless entry control module is used in another vehicle before, ignition key cannot be registered. Always install new keyless entry control module whenever replacement is necessary.

Engine start check
1)Start engine using the spare ignition key.
Does engine start?

End. (Ignition key was not registered)

Go to Step 2.

Ignition key registration
1)Perform “Immobilizer Key Registration”.
2)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
3)Set ignition “ON”.
4)Recheck DTC.
Is DTC B1188 still detected?

Replace keyless entry control module and recheck DTC.
