Keyless Entry Control Module Removal and Installation (Ignition Switch Model)

Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)For LHD, remove passenger side instrument panel undercover.
For RHD, remove driver side instrument panel undercover.
For RHD, remove driver side instrument panel undercover.
3)Disconnect instrument panel harness connector (1) and floor harness clamp from keyless entry control module bracket (2).
4)Disconnect keyless entry control module connectors (3).
5)Remove nuts (4), and then remove keyless entry control module (5).
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Tighten keyless entry control module nuts to specified torque.
•If keyless entry control module is replaced, perform Keyless Entry Control Module Registration (Ignition Switch Model).
•If keyless entry control module is replaced, perform Keyless Entry Control Module Registration (Ignition Switch Model).
