HANDLE - INSIDE RELEASE
REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel (1), (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - HALF REAR/TRIM PANEL - REMOVAL)
2. Remove the screw (6) securing the inside handle (1) to the door (2).
NOTE: Full front door shown, half door similar.
3. Release the clips (4) and disconnect the handle rods (1).
4. Slide the handle (3) off of the retaining tabs (2) and remove.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Full door shown, half door similar.
1. Position the handle (3) onto the carrier plate tabs (2) and slide into place fully.
2. Connect the rods (1) and secure the clips (4).
3. Install the handle screw (6) and tighten to 8.5 N·m (75 in. lbs.).
4. Install the trim panel (1), (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - HALF REAR/TRIM PANEL - INSTALLATION)
