CUSHION/COVER-CUSHION - REAR

REMOVAL


1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS - WARNING).
2. For appropriate seat configuration illustrations, (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REAR - DESCRIPTION).
3. Remove the rear seat, (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REAR - REMOVAL).

Two Door


1. Remove the seat back frame to seat cushion assembly bolts and separate the seat back assembly.
2. Separate the J-straps and remove the cover and cushion assembly.
3. Remove the hog rings and separate the cushion and cover.

Four Door


1. Separate the rear seat sections.
2. Remove the seat cushion pivot bolts and separate the cushion from the back assembly.
3. Release the J-straps and separate the cushion assembly from the frame.
4. Remove the hog rings and separate the cover from the cushion.

INSTALLATION


1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.
(Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS - WARNING).
2. For appropriate seat configuration illustrations, (Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REAR - DESCRIPTION).

Two Door


1. Position the cover over the cushion and attach with new hog rings.
2. Position the seat cushion over the seat frame and fasten the J-straps.
3. Install the seat cushion onto the seat back frame and install the cushion assembly bolts.
4. Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the seat,
(Refer to 23 - BODY/SEATS/SEAT - REAR - INSTALLATION).

Four Door


1. Position the cover over the cushion and attach with new hog rings.
2. Position the seat cushion over the seat frame and fasten the J-straps.
3. Install the seat cushion assembly onto the seat back assembly and install the pivot bolts.
4. Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18.5 ft. lbs.)
5. Position the seat halves back together.
6. Install the seat,
