INSTALLATION

TIE ROD TUBE




1. Thread the tie rod tube onto the adjuster.



2. Install the tie rod in the steering knuckle.
3. Tighten the ball stud nut (3) on the steering knuckle to 85 N·m (63 ft. lbs.). 



4. Position the tie rod clamp (2) and tighten to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Set wheel toe,
(Refer to 2 - SUSPENSION/WHEEL ALIGNMENT - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .

TIE ROD END




1. Thread the tie rod end in the tube.
2. Install the tie rod in the steering knuckle.
3. Tighten the ball stud nut (3) on the steering knuckle to 85 N·m (63 ft. lbs.).
4. Position the tie rod clamp (2) and tighten to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Set wheel toe,
