DISASSEMBLY

Removal / installation

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT:
Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD

    Release the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

    Remove the 6 screws.

  1. Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.


5. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. B123742
    Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the claw and disconnect the cushion shield inner from the cushion shield.


6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH

    Remove the 2 screws and switch.


7. REMOVE LOWER OUTER SEAT TRACK SPACER

    Remove the 2 screws and spacer.


8. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the cushion shield.


9. REMOVE LOWER INNER SEAT TRACK SPACER

    Remove the 2 screws and spacer from the cushion shield inner.


10. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

    Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the front power seat switch.


11. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System)

  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch.


12. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

    Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

  1. B123749
    Using a screwdriver, detach the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.


13. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

  1. B121644E01
    Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.


14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  1. B123723E01
    Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.


15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board)

    Open the lower part of the seatback board. Then remove the 2 screws.

  1. Pull the seatback board in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 2 claws. Then, remove the seatback board.


16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

    Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest support.


17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

18. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/o Seatback Board)

    Open the 2 zippers and seatback cover.

  1. B121649E01
    Remove the hog rings and hooks.

  1. B126061
    Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.


19. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board)

    Remove the hog ring and hooks.

  1. B121649E01
    Remove the hog rings and hooks.

  1. B121648E01
    Remove the hog rings.

  1. B126061
    Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.


20. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER

    Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.


21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  1. B123724E01
    Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seatback heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.


22. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. Disconnect the harness.

  1. B126063
    Remove the 2 screws and lower reclining adjuster inside cover RH.


23. REMOVE LOWER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. Disconnect the harness.

  1. B126062
    Remove the 2 screws lower reclining adjuster inside cover LH.


24. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

  1. B126065
    Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside upper cover RH.


25. REMOVE UPPER RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

  1. B126064
    Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside upper cover LH.


26. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

  1. B122088
    Remove the screw and detach the hook of the front seat lower cushion shield LH.


27. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

  1. B122087
    Remove the screw and detach the hook of the front seat lower cushion shield.


28. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

  1. B126080
    Disconnect the connector and clamps.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and lumbar support adjuster.


29. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  1. B105993
    Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

  1. Using a T30 ''torx'' socket, remove the 6 ''torx'' bolts and remove the seatback climate control cover and blower.


30. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    Separate the 2 clamps (A) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1).

  1. Separate the 2 clamps (B) in the direction indicated by the arrow (2).

  1. Disengage the 2 claws, and remove the seat cushion climate control duct LH.


31. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

  1. B120540
    Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the screw, detach the claw and remove the blower with bracket.

  1. Remove the 3 bolts, 3 bushes and blower from the bracket.


32. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  1. B105967
    Disconnect the connector.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the seat slide position sensor protector.

  1. Using a T30 "torx" socket, remove the "torx" bolt and seat position sensor.


33. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  1. B128150
    Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  1. Disconnect the clamp, claw and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.


34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE
