INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the cable to the clamps shown in the illustration to install the cable.

2. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER



(a) Install the lock retainer and turn it clockwise as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the cable and turn it clockwise as shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the fuel lid lock control cable to the fuel lid lock open lever.

(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the fuel lid lock open lever.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY AUDIO / VIDEO: LUGGAGE SPEAKER: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570)+

5. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the front quarter trim panel assembly RH DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR DRIVE UNIT: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570) .

6. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front carpet assembly AUDIO / VIDEO: STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER: INSTALLATION (2008 LX570) .

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION (2008 LX570) .

8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: AIRBAG SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (2008 LX570) .
