REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
-
w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
.
2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the front floor carpet assembly
.
3. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the front quarter trim panel assembly RH
.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)
5. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER
(a) Turn the cable counterclockwise and remove the cable from the retainer.

(b) Turn the lock retainer counterclockwise and remove the lock retainer. |
6. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 2 claws. |
(b) Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable and remove the fuel lid lock open lever.
7. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the clamps shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(b) Remove the lock control cable.
