CHECK DISPLAY (RSE IMAGE QUALITY ADJUSTMENT SCREEN) |

(a) Press the remote controller DISPLAY switch, and adjust the settings for contrast, tint, color and brightness. OK: Returned to normal through image quality adjustment. |

CHECK COLOR BAR (DISPLAY CHECK MODE) |
|
(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode (Color Bar Check)
|
(b) Check that the color bars match the displayed names.

CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (DISPLAY CHECK MODE) |

(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode (Vehicle Signal Check Mode)

(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the light control switch operation.

HINT:
The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

CHECK DISC |
|
(a) Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked. OK: No deformation or cracks on the disc. |

6. |
DISC CLEANING |
|
(a) Disc cleaning (1) If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction. NOTICE:
Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative. |

7. |
CHECK DISPLAY SIGNAL CIRCUIT |
(a) Inspect the display signal circuits below.
(1) Inspect the display signal circuit between the radio receiver and television display
.
(2) Inspect the display signal circuit between the video terminal and television display
.
(b) If the display signal circuit is operating normally, proceed to the next step.

CHECK NTSC/PAL SIGNAL (RSE IMAGE QUALITY ADJUSTMENT SCREEN) |
|
(a) During the VTR image, check if changing the NTSC/PAL signal by pressing the remote controller DISPLAY switch, entering the RSE image adjustment screen, and pressing the PAL VIDEO button returns the image to normal. OK: Returned to normal after pressing image quality adjustment screen PAL VIDEO button. |

9. |
REPLACE EXTERNAL DEVICE WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK |
(a) Replace the external device with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
