Turn Signal Light does not Illuminate

DESCRIPTION

The turn signal flasher receives a turn signal switch signal from the headlight dimmer switch, and illuminates the front turn signal light and rear combination light.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the E19 turn signal flasher connector.

(b) Disconnect the A41 and K4 light connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Remove the headlight dimmer switch LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH: INSPECTION (2008 LX570) .

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Temporarily replace the display and navigation module display with a new or normally functioning one NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System): REMOVAL (2008 LX570)+ .

(b) Check the hazard warning switch operation.

OK:

Hazard warning switch operation is normal.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TURN SIGNAL FLASHER - MULTI-DISPLAY)



(a) Disconnect the E19 turn signal flasher connector.

(b) Disconnect the F28 multi-display connector.

(b) Check the hazard warning switch operation.
