REMOVAL

HINT:

  • Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
  • The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
  • When removing window frame moulding, heat the vehicle body and window frame moulding using a heat light.

Do not heat the vehicle body and window frame moulding excessively.

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: RADIATOR GRILLE: REMOVAL (2008 LX570)+

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

4. REMOVE REAR UPPER DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM COVER LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

7. REMOVE REAR INNER DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

9. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

10. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH DOOR / HATCH: REAR DOOR: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570)+

(a) Put protective tape around the window frame moulding.

(b) Detach the clip and remove the double-sided tape to remove the window frame moulding.
