INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/ Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the ECU with the bolt. Torque: 5.5 N·m (56 kgf·cm, 49 in·lbf) |
|
(b) Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts. Torque: 5.5 N·m (56 kgf·cm, 49 in·lbf) |
(c) Connect the connectors.
2. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/o Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the ECU with the bolt. Torque: 5.5 N·m (56 kgf·cm, 49 in·lbf) |
|
(b) Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with bracket with the 2 nuts. Torque: 5.5 N·m (56 kgf·cm, 49 in·lbf) |
(c) Connect the connectors.
3. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL
5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE
7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH
8. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH
9. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected

11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
12. REGISTER ECU CODE
(a) Register the ECU code
.
13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light
.
