INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR
|
(a) Install the sensor with 2 new clips.
|
(b) Attach the clamp.
(c) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD
|
(a) Attach the hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.
|
(b) Bend the 2 seat frame claws downward.
|
(c) Connect the seat heater control connector and attach the wire harness clamp.
|
|
(d) Connect the seat heater connector and attach the wire harness clamp.
|
(e) Install the 2 clips.
3. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH
|
(a) Connect the connector.
|
(b) Install the 3 screws to install the switch.
4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER RH
|
(a) Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the cushion shield.
|
(b) Install the screw.
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
|
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cushion shield.
|
(b) Install the 3 screws.
(c) Install the 2 screws.
7. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
|
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
|
8. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
|
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the knob.
|
9. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU
|
(a) Check that the engine switch is off.
|
(b) Check that the cable is disconnected from the battery negative (-) terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
-
w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
.
(c) Install the ECU to the seat with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 3.0 N·m (31 kgf·cm, 27 in·lbf)
NOTICE:
-
If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.
-
When installing the ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
(d) Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the ECU.
10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
