INSTALLATION

Removal / installation


1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER

  1. B108530
    Install the screw <C> and the instrument panel bracket sub-assembly center.


3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

HINT:
Refer to the procedures from "INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY" (Click here).


4. CONNECT FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY CONNECTOR

  1. C111073
    Connect the 2 connectors to the front passenger airbag assembly.

    NOTICE:
    When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.


5. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. B108513E03
    Connect the connectors.

  1. Install the 2 bolts <A>, the 2 screws <C>, and the glove compartment door assembly.


6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO.2 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. B112171
    Connect the connectors.

  1. Engage the 3 claws and install the instrument panel No.2 under cover sub-assembly.


7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:
Use the same procedures for the cowl side trim sub-assembly RH and the cowl side trim sub-assembly LH (Click here).


8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM RH WEATHERSTRIP

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF RH PLATE

HINT:
Use the same procedures for the front door scuff RH plate and the front door scuff LH plate (Click here).


10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

  1. Perform initialization (Click here).

    HINT:
    Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.


12. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

  1. Inspect the SRS warning light (Click here).
