P0AF8 HV battery voltage drop

DESCRIPTION
- The HV control ECU detects error signals, alerts the driver, and performs fail-safe control based on the detected signals.
- This DTC is output if the HV battery is discharged, the HV control system has a malfunction, or the shift lever is left in the N position.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION
If the battery smart unit detects voltage drop in the HV battery, the HV control ECU illuminates the MIL and sets a DTC.INSPECTION PROCEDURE
| 1. READ OUTPUT DTC (HV) |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.
Read output DTCs. (Click here)
- Result:
- DTCs other than P0AF8, P3000-388 and P3000-389 are output.
