Retractor Operational

1. Push the independent headlight retractor switch to raise or retract the headlights. The ignition switch may be at any position.
2. The headlights should be raised at all times in cold weather.

Retractor Doesn't Operate

1. Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2. Lift the hood and open the main fuse panel.
3. Pull the RETRACTOR (30 A) fuse straight out.
4. Inspect the removed fuse. If it is blown, replace it with a new one of the same rating. If it isn't blown or a new one doesn't solve the problem, remove the fuse and manually operate the headlight motor.
5. To manually operate the headlight motor:
   1. Remove the cap from the top of the headlight motor. Then turn the knob clockwise until the headlight is fully raised or retracted.
   2. Replace the cap.
   3. Reinstall the fuse and the fuse panel cover.
