BLEEDING

Galant, Eclipse, 3000GT and Mirage

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Fill the reservoir with clean brake fluid meeting DOT 3 specifications.
3. Press the clutch pedal to the floor, then open the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.
4. Tighten the bleed screw and release the clutch pedal.
5. Repeat the procedure until the fluid is free of air bubbles.
