Power Steering Hose

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

  1. Drain the power steering fluid.
  2. Remove the front bumper.
  3. Disconnect the pressure hose and the pressure tube.
  4. Disconnect the return tube and the return hose.
  5. Disconnect the cooler tube.
  6. Disconnect the hose.
  7. Remove the O-ring.
  8. Remove the oil reservoir.
  9. Disconnect the suction hose.

To Install:

  1. Connect the suction hose.
  2. Install the oil reservoir.
  3. Install the O-ring.
  4. Connect the hose.
  5. Connect the cooler tube.
  6. Connect the return hose and return tube.
  7. Connect the pressure tube.
  8. Connect the pressure hose so its slot section contacts the oil pump’s guide bracket.
  9. Once the pressure hose is installed, line up the white line on the pressure hose with the white line on the pressure tube.
  10. Install the front bumper.
  11. Fill and bleed the power steering fluid.
