Removal & Installation

2.4L Engine

To Remove:

1. Remove the oxygen sensor.
2. Remove the heat shield.
3. Remove the engine hanger.
4. Remove the exhaust manifold and gasket.

To Install:

1. Install the exhaust manifold with a new gasket.
2. Install the engine hanger.
3. Install the heat shield.
4. Install the oxygen sensor.

3.0L Engine

To Remove:

1. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the strut tower bar.
3. Remove the dipstick tubes as needed.
4. Remove the battery and tray as needed.

To Install:

1. Install the battery tray and battery if removed.
2. Install the dipstick tubes.
3. Install the strut tower bar.
4. Connect the front exhaust pipe to the manifold.
