Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Removal & Installation

CAUTION
The control module is sensitive to static discharge. Make sure to touch a nearby metal object to discharge any static electricity that may be built up on your body.

To Remove:

1. Remove the glove box assembly.
2. Remove the wiring harness cover.
3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the ECM or PCM.

To Install:

1. Install the ECM or PCM and connect the electrical connectors.
2. Install the wiring harness cover.
3. Install the glove box assembly.
