Code No.C1519 Torque sensor calibration abnormality
| caution | - If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnostics Table
 ). - Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.

OPERATION
By executing the calibration of the torque sensor, the EPS-ECU learns the neutral position of the torque sensor.
FUNCTION
When the EPS-ECU determines that the torque sensor neutral position (zero point correction value) is abnormal.
TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
Judgement Criterion
- When an abnormal learning is performed at the torque sensor neutral position (zero point correction value).
Fail Safe, Back Up Function
- The EPS-ECU stops the motor control and illuminates the electric power steering warning display, then sets the diagnosis code C1519.
PROBABLE CAUSES
The calibration did not complete normally.
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1. Re-perform torque sensor calibration (Refer to ). 2. Replace the EPS-ECU (Refer to ).
