COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
When the system cannot be activated or deactivated by operating the sonar switch, the sonar switch or the clearance warning control unit may have a problem.

Diagnosis code C2225 may be set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
Malfunction of sonar switch
Malfunction of clearance warning control unit
Damaged harness wires and connectors
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Check of short to earth, and open circuit in CSW line between the clearance warning control unit connector and sonar switch connector.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
STEP 2. Check of open circuit in earth line between the sonar switch connector and body earth.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
STEP 3. Check the sonar switch.

Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 4.
Replace the sonar switch (Refer to ).
STEP 4. M.U.T.-IIISE data list.
Check the input signal (Refer to ).
Operate the sonar switch.
