The antenna trimmer should always be adjusted when the antenna and/or its lead
are replaced. It is a good idea to adjust it if the radio has been removed from
the car for any reason.
- Remove the radio from the car, as necessary, to gain access to the trimmer.
- Be sure that the speaker and antenna leads are connected to the radio, and
that the antenna is pulled up all the way.
- Select a weak station around 1400 kHz on the dial.
- Turn the trimmer screw either right or left until the signal become's the
strongest (volume the loudest).
- Install the radio after the adjustment is completed.
