Windshield Wiper Blade and Arm

Removal & Installation

Front

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Open hood.
3. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Cap
   • Nut and wiper arm
   • Blade from arm by pushing locking clip up and pulling blade from arm

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Blade onto arm and secure clip
   • Arm and tighten nut
   • Cap
   • Close hood.
   • Operate wiper once.

2. Align wiper blade to mark (1) of front window.

Rear

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Raise wiper arm cover.
3. Loosen nut to remove wiper arm.

To Install:

1. Install arm and tighten nut.
2. Lower wiper arm cover.
3. Operate rear wiper once.

4. Align blade to rear defogger heat wire
