Clutch Slave Cylinder

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Air cleaner case and air intake duct (non-turbo models)
   • Intercooler (turbo models)

   • Clutch hose from operating cylinder

     CAUTION
     Cover the hose joint to prevent clutch fluid from flowing out.

   • Operating cylinder from transmission

To Install:

CAUTION
Apply grease (SUNLIGHT 2: P/N 003602010) to the contact point of the release lever and operating cylinder.

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Operating cylinder to transmission
     1. T1 - Torque to: 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm)
     2. T2 - Torque to: 27.5 ft. lbs. (37 Nm)
   • Clutch hose from operating cylinder
   • Intercooler (turbo models)
   • Air cleaner case and air intake duct (non-turbo models)
2. After bleeding air from the operating cylinder, ensure that clutch operates properly.
