Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Ground terminal from battery
   • Console box and connector
   • Grip
   • Indicator cover
   • Slider
   • Cushion

   • Clip and the position switch
   • Clamp and the shift lock solenoid

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Shift solenoid and the clamp
   • Position switch
   • Cushion, slider and indicator cover
   • Grip
   • Console box and connector
   • Battery ground terminal
