Brake Disc (Rotor)

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
3. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Wheel
   • Caliper body from housing and suspend it from the strut
   • Parking brake (rear wheel)
   • Disc rotor

CAUTION
If the disc rotor seizes up within the hub, drive the disc rotor out by installing an 8-mm bolt in holes on the rotor. Clean any mud or foreign material from caliper body assembly and support.

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Disc rotor
   • Parking brake (rear wheel)
   • Caliper body from housing and suspend it from the strut
   • Wheel
2. Bleed air from brake system.
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Adjust parking brake (rear wheel).
