Removal & Installation

Main Fan and Fan Motor

To Remove:

1. Disconnect or remove the following
   • Battery ground cable
   • Under cover

     Main Fan Connector

   • Main fan motor connector

     Air Intake Duct

   • Air intake duct

     Overflow pipe

   • Overflow pipe
   • Reservoir tank

     Fan Shroud

   • Radiator main fan motor assembly

To Install:

1. Connect or install the following

   Fan Shroud

   • Radiator main fan motor assembly
     1. Torque specification: 4.9 Nm (3.6ft-lb)
   • Reservoir tank

     Overflow pipe

   • Overflow hose

     Air Intake Duct

   • Air intake duct

     Main Fan Connector

   • Main fan motor connector
   • Under cover
   • Battery ground cable

   NOTE: When the main fan motor assembly cannot be installed as is, loosen the sub fan motor assembly securing bolts to install it

   Sub Fan and Fan Motor

   To Remove:

   1. Disconnect or remove the following
      • Battery ground cable
      • Under cover

        Sub Fan Connector

      • Sub fan motor connector
      • Air intake duct

        Air Intake Duct

      • Sub fan shroud to radiator bolts

        Overflow pipe

      • Overflow pipe

        Fan Shroud

      • Radiator sub fan shroud (through the under side of vehicle)

   To Install:

   1. Connect or install the following

      Fan Shroud

      • Radiator sub fan shroud (through the under side of vehicle)

        Overflow pipe

      • Overflow pipe
      • Sub fan shroud to radiator bolts
        1. Torque specification: 4.9 Nm (3.6ft-lb)

      Air Intake Duct

      • Air intake duct

      Sub Fan Connector

      • Sub fan motor connector
      • Under cover
      • Battery ground cable
