To Remove:
- Move the select lever to "N" range
- Remove or disconnect the following
- Air cleaner case
- Inhibitor switch connector
- Inhibitor switch connector from stay
- Front and center exhaust pipes
- Snap pin and washer from range select lever
- Plate assembly from transmission case
- Bolts
- Inhibitor switch from transmission
- Inhibitor switch harness connector from inhibitor switch
- Move the range select lever to parking position (left side)
To Install:
- Move the range select lever to neutral position
- Connect or install the following
- Inhibitor switch harness connector to inhibitor switch
- Inhibitor switch to transmission case
- Inhibitor switch on specified position, and then tighten the bolts using (St 499267300 stopper pin)
- Torque Specification: 3.5 Nm (2.6 Ft. Lbs.)
- Select cable to range select lever
- Plate assembly to transmission
- Torque Specification: T: 25 Nm (18.1 Ft. Lbs.)
- Washer and snap pin to range select lever
- Front and center exhaust pipes
- Inhibitor switch connector to stay
- Inhibitor switch connector
- Air cleaner case
