P0190: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor “A” Circuit Any of the following conditions is met.
•Measured voltage of fuel pressure sensor signal circuit is higher than specified value. (1 D/C detection logic)•Measured voltage of fuel pressure sensor signal circuit is lower than specified value. |
•Lack of fuel
•Fuel pressure sensor and/or its circuit •Fuel flow actuator and/or its circuit •Low fuel pressure circuit (fuel pressure regulator in fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator in fuel filter case, fuel pump and/or its circuit, fuel hose, fuel pipe) •High fuel pressure circuit (high pressure pump, common rail, high pressure pipe, fuel injector) •ECM |

Go to Step 2.

Fuel level check
1)Check fuel level by fuel gauge.
Does fuel gauge indicate “E” level (empty)?

Add fuel and recheck DTC.

Go to Step 3.

Fuel pressure sensor power supply circuit, signal circuit and ground circuit check
1)Check “B1”, “B2” and “B3” circuits according to Step 2 – 5 of Fuel Pressure Sensor Circuit Check:D16AA.
Is check result OK?

Go to Step 4.
|
Repair or replace defective wire harness.

Fuel pressure sensor replacement
1)Replace fuel pressure sensor.
2)Clear DTC.
3)Set ignition “OFF”.
4)Check DTC.
Is DTC P0190 still detected?
|
Replace ECM and recheck DTC.
|
