Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
Precautions: General safety (00)
Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)Disconnect IAT sensor connector (1).
3)Remove air cleaner bolts (2).
4)Disconnect air cleaner suction hose (3) from air cleaner assembly (4).
5)Loosen air cleaner outlet hose No.1 clamp bolt (5) and remove air cleaner assembly.
6)Remove air cleaner suction hose (1) and air cleaner suction pipe (2).
7)Disconnect breather pipe (1) from air cleaner outlet hose (2).
8)Loosen air cleaner outlet hose No.2 clamp bolt (3) and remove air cleaner outlet hose.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Tighten air cleaner outlet hose No.1 clamp bolt and air cleaner outlet hose No.2 clamp bolt to specified torque.
Air cleaner outlet hose No.2 clamp bolt (b): 3.1 N·m (0.32 kgf-m, 2.5 lbf-ft)
•Tighten air cleaner suction pipe bolts to specified torque.
Tightening torque
Air cleaner outlet hose No.1 clamp bolt (a): 1.3 N·m (0.13 kgf-m, 1.0 lbf-ft)Air cleaner outlet hose No.2 clamp bolt (b): 3.1 N·m (0.32 kgf-m, 2.5 lbf-ft)
