Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
Precautions: General safety (00)
Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2)Remove engine cover. 
3)Remove air cleaner suction hose (1).
4)Disconnect MAF sensor with IAT sensor-1 connector (2) from air cleaner assembly (3) as follows.
a)Move connector lock pin (4) in arrow direction as shown in figure.
b)Push connector lock lever (5) and disconnect connector from air cleaner assembly.
5)Disconnect engine harness clamp from air cleaner assembly.
6)Disconnect waste gate control hose No.3 (6) from air cleaner assembly.
7)Loosen air cleaner outlet hose clamp (7), and then remove air cleaner assembly.
8)Remove air cleaner outlet hose (1), if necessary.
NOTICE:
Turbocharger compressor impeller will be damaged if any foreign material enters through turbocharger inlet air pipe.
Take special care not to allow any foreign material enter turbocharger compressor housing during removal and installation.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Tighten air cleaner outlet hose clamp to specified torque.
•Insert protrusions (1) of air cleaner assembly (2) into grommets (3) on intake manifold.
•Tighten engine cover bolts securely.
•Insert protrusions (1) of air cleaner assembly (2) into grommets (3) on intake manifold.
