Oil Pressure Switch-1 Removal and Installation

Removal

Reference: Oil Pressure Switch-1 On-Vehicle Inspection:D16AA

1)Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.

2)Disconnect oil pressure switch-1 connector.

3)Remove oil pressure switch-1 (1) from heat exchanger No.1.

Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

•Check oil pressure switch-1 gasket for deterioration and damage. If defect is found, replace oil pressure switch-1.
•Tighten oil pressure switch-1 (1) to specified torque.

Tightening torque

Oil pressure switch-1 (a): 26 N·m (2.7 kgf-m, 19.5 lbf-ft)

•Check that there is no engine oil leakage.
