Tensioner Pulley and Generator Bracket Removal and Installation

Removal

1)Remove generator.

2)Remove tensioner pulley (1).

3)Remove generator bracket (2).

Installation

Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.

•Tighten generator bracket bolts in numerical order as shown in figure.

a.Temporarily generator bracket bolts in numerical order (“1” – “4”).
b.Tighten them to specified torque in the same manner as in Step a).

Tightening torque

Generator bracket bolt (with tensioner pulley)* (a): 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.5 lbf-ft)

•Tighten tensioner pulley bolt to specified torque.

Tightening torque

Tensioner pulley bolt (b): 45 N·m (4.6 kgf-m, 33.5 lbf-ft)
