Was “ESP® System Check” performed?
|
Go to Step 2.
|
Go to ESP® System Check.

ESP® OFF switch check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Remove ESP® OFF switch.
3)Check each terminal of ESP® OFF switch for proper connection.
4)If connections are OK, check ESP® OFF switch.
Is check result OK?

Go to Step 3.

Replace ESP® OFF switch.

ESP® OFF switch circuit check
1)Disconnect “E08” connector.
2)Check for proper connection to “E08” connector.
3)If connection is OK, check resistance between the following terminals and ground.
•With parking sensor system: Between “E08-35” and ground
•Without parking sensor system: Between “E08-21” and ground Is resistance infinity?

Replace ESP® hydraulic unit / control module assembly and recheck DTC.
|
Repair or replace “A1” circuit.
|
