Go to Step 2

Go to ESP® System Check.

DTC check
1)Perform DTC Check.
Is other DTC(s) than C1037, C1038 and C1057 detected?

Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
|
Go to Step 3.
|

DTC check for BCM
Is any of DTC U0073, U0121 and/or U0126 detected?
|
Go to applicable DTC troubleshooting.
|
Go to Step 4.
|

Fuse check
1)Check “ABS” fuse (10A).
Is check result OK?
|
Go to Step 5.
|
Replace fuse and check for short circuit to ground.

Steering angle sensor power supply circuit check
1)Check that ignition is “OFF”.
2)Disconnect steering angle sensor connector.
3)Disconnect “E08” connector.
4)Check for proper connection to “E08” connector.
5)If connection is OK, set ignition “ON”.
6)Measure voltage between “A1” circuit and ground.
Is it 10 – 14 V?

Go to Step 6.

Repair or replace “A1” circuit.

Steering angle sensor ground circuit check
1)Set ignition “ON”.
2)Measure resistance between “A2” circuit and ground.
Is it less than 1 Ω?

Go to Step 7.
|
Repair or replace “A2” circuit.

Steering angle sensor check
1)Connect steering angle sensor connector.
Is check result OK?
