NOTE:
For mechanism of the flywheel, refer to Twin Clutch System Flywheel Description.
1)Hold flywheel (1) with special tool. At this moment, check plate (2) on flywheel outer plate is placed on flywheel inner plate (3) in parallel to it.
2)Set special tool to flywheel inner plate (1) according to the following procedure.
a)Remove either of arm screws (2) and remove that arm (3) from special tool body.
b)Fit remaining arm to teeth on flywheel inner plate at position next to claw (4) on flywheel outer plate. Positional relation between the arm and check plate (5) is as shown in figure.
c)Fit removed arm to teeth on flywheel inner plate and then tighten the screw securely.
NOTE:
Special tool is effective only when the positional relation between the arms, claws and check plates is as shown in figure.
3)Put cross arm (1) included in special tool on the tool body and hook pins (2) to claws (3) on flywheel outer plate as shown.
NOTE:
Put correct side of the cross arm on the tool body adaptable to the outer plate diameter.
4)Tighten nut (1) with washer, and screw push pins (2) into threaded holes (3) until each end of the pin lightly touches check plate (4).
NOTE:
Collars included in special tool are not necessary to use for push pins.
5)Tighten adjusting screw (1) to rotate flywheel outer plate until end of check plate (2) on the outer plate is positioned in oblong hole area (3) in the inner plate.
6)Push down end of check plate (1) by tightening pin (2) until the plate end becomes flat with flywheel inner plate (3) at inside of oblong hole (4).
7)Loosen adjusting screw and check that each end of check plate is stuck to oblong hole in flywheel inner plate, and then remove special tool.
